Twelve years ago I found the visual journal, at a point in my life when words were not doing the work any more. It handed me back a whole language I had put down somewhere in childhood, and it changed how I live.

I spent the years after that taking apart what actually happens on a page, until it came down to seven simple elements anyone can follow: intention, magical coincidence, background, image, color, line and text. That is the SoulPages method. I built it so that a woman could reach that place of creation without needing to know how to draw, and without needing anything she does not already have at home.

I teach it in online courses, in the facilitator training, in journeys I lead abroad, and face to face in the studio. It is also written down in three books: Layers of Meaning, which lays out the method, Color Archetypes, and Gates of Hope.
