Workshops created by SoulPages Facilitators

Not all of us have physical studios, but we all can have an inner studio. So, when we speak of the studio today we are referring to this imaginal space.

In this imaginal space we will explore our unique connections with what we are calling the “Spirits of the Arts” —those numinous qualities inherent in the mediums we work with.

Creative processes to give us an opening on to our dream garden

Creative processes, both evocative and immersive, can help us step through or create opening to get glimpses into our dream garden and lead to magical coincidences.

In this lesson, we will work with guided writing exercises and dreamy backgrounds and let the soul speak to us and share parts of its dream garden…

The purpose of the lesson is to bring to consciousness how we manifest our inner worlds (subconscious, being, imagination, desires) through the work of our hands. How do the mundane things we do with our hands reveal our inner essences? What is the connection? What does it tell us about ourselves?

Participants will go through an intuitive process of selecting images that reflect their inner essence, overlaying it as a transparency atop a more vivid and defined rendering of their hands – representing their embodiment.

Spring is a wonderful time to do some cleaning and the visual journal is the perfect place to declutter our heart’s home. In this class, we will look carefully at what is filling our lives and what might need some letting go. Visit with Hestia, the Keeper of the Hearth, to discover new insights into what you want to keep, and what you will bring to the fire.

Colors could also be defined as archetypes, as universal symbols that evoke deep and sometimes unconscious responses in a reader. Like any archetype, colors have a good side or interpretation and a dark side, e.g.,

We could spend hours and hours with color theory, but  we are going to try to experience color through the eyes of an amazing Mexican artist, Frida Kahlo.

In this lesson we will explore the web of our inner knowing, our heart’s wisdom. Primarily using the element of line, we will connect the concept of a web from the natural world to the metaphorical relationship of our heart wisdom.
